System description:
When multiclad is used as part of a rainscreen cladding system, it is necessary to have a ventilated air gap behind the panels to prevent moisture being conducted to construction behind. Typically this gap should be a minimum of 30 mm. The air gap should be finished at the bottom with a perforated screen to keep out birds, and covered at the top with a flashing
Multiclad is manufactured from a mixture cement organic fibres fillers and water.
